The Student-Athlete Advising Track
Best for:
For student-athletes who care about both their sport and their education.

What athletes are saying
“Mr. Gregory had eye-opening insight into the college basketball recruitment process. He guided me onto a path of schools, I never would’ve discovered on my own that had a perfect balance of academics and athletics. With his help I received multiple offers from schools and communicated with coaches effectively.
Throughout the process he was kind, resourceful, and always offered a good laugh. He communicated directly with college coaches, allowing me to reach more schools.
I would definitely recommend him for anyone looking to play sports in college. He values students for all of their abilities and works to find schools that fit their interests.”
—Samatha C., Summerfield, NC, Point Guard for Washington and Lee University

“As a student-athlete, it was important that my college selection reflected both my academic and athletic goals.
In the midst of college applications and the recruiting process, I had the pleasure of working with my college counselor, Mr. Gregory, to find the right match for my four years following high school. He was able to make connections with potential schools/volleyball programs and offered me useful advice in narrowing down my college options.
Beyond his advising my college process, Mr. G is simply a great human being to work with that I recommend for high school students pursuing sports and academics or solely academics in college!”
—Caitlin S., Student, Greensboro, NC, Volleyball setter at Randolph Macon

“Although our son had many options as a recruited athlete for school, Mr. Gregory made sure that Julian was choosing not just the best place for him to play basketball, but the best overall fit for him academically, socially, and athletically.
He then guided our son with his senior schedule to mirror the level of challenge needed for his chosen school, so there would be no surprises after his commitment.
Most importantly, he got our son organized with his application so that we did not have to! He helped him form a plan to get through the application and essay process seamlessly.
As an athlete, he needed his application completed much earlier than other early decision applications, and Mr. Gregory was cognizant of this and made sure all was completed in time.”
We are forever grateful for all of Mr. Gregory‘s help!”
