About me

Keeon Gregory

Hi, I’m Keeon Gregory! For more than 30 years, I’ve seen the college admissions process from every angle—first as a university admissions officer reviewing applications, and now as a college counselor guiding students and families through every step of the journey.

I’ve personally visited over 300 schools and have helped over a thousand students get into colleges across the country and abroad, from Ivy League schools and private liberal arts colleges to state flagships. I bring the insight and relationships I’ve built with admissions officers to better inform and advise my students.

I’m in your corner. I take the time to understand each student’s story, strengths, and goals, then create a clear, personalized plan—from course selection and testing, to college lists, applications, essays, and scholarship searches.

After two decades working as a Dean and Director of College Counseling in Independent Schools I apply my experience to your journey and unique path.

I’ve read and edited thousands of college essays over the years and know exactly what a powerful, effective essay should look like.

I keep students on track with to-do lists, provide timely answers after school and on weekends, and make sure each step is manageable and stress-free.

I help students find colleges where they’ll thrive, grow, and achieve their dreams—every step of the way, with care and guidance.

Currently, I’m one of the most followed college counselors on LinkedIn and serve on several college admission advisory committees including SMU, Furman University, and The Ohio State University. Previously, I’ve served on advisory boards for Ohio Wesleyan University, Union College, and the Rochester Institute of Technology.
